The Eco-Club of K.C. Das Commerce Colleg was established in the month of March, 2022, supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India and Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC), Guwahati, as the State Nodal Agency
The basic objective of the club is to maintain sustainable development towards greener environment by promoting environmental awareness, encouraging education as well as participation in environmental issues among students and the wider college community.
Since its inception, with the help of its student and teacher members, the Eco-club has been involved with activities related to environment awareness, protection and conservation. Through various activities, the eco-club tries to sensitise people about realisation and adoption of ecological and sustainable activities in protecting the environment, not only within the college campus but also outside the college boundary. The motto of the Eco-Club is to inculcate the habit of environmentally feasible lifestyle among all for protecting the environment in the long run.
