Department of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) was established in 2008. From then this department is functioning smoothly by providing the students with good knowledge and ideas about business administration. The students in this department are very much enthusiastic about the subjects related to the curriculum. The output can be seen with the results of the students.

Many students have secured good percentages and also have achieved top ranks in Gauhati University. Earlier the number of students in the class was very less but from 2016 the capacity has been increased to 60.Most of the students are highly dedicated to the studies, debates, quiz and games and sports . Various projects based on business studies (summer project) have been going on.

Field visits are done for the students to enable them acquire good knowledge on the real world of business which helped them to win various medals and achieve laurels in the society. Presently following faculty members are serving in the department:
