PARTICIPATION IN CORPORATE LIFE/ ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE/ EXTENSION WORK AND COMMUNITY SERVICES:
1) Serving as Protocol Officer of Red Ribbon Club, K.C.Das Commerce College since 2012. Was appointed as protocol officer by Assam AIDS Control Society. 2)On 15.9.2018 participated in an awareness programme on "Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao" mission organised by Department of Social Welfare Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Government of Assam, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Beltola-28 held at District Commissioner Office, Panbazar, Guwahati-1 3) On 08.03.2022 on the occasion of International Women's Day participated in community service by distributing food in Guwahati Railway Station with faculty members and students of K.C.Das Commerce College. 4) On 01.03.2023 participated in the Y20 Talk Series on the topic "Indian Knowledge System" held at Cotton University, Guwahati. As Programme Officer of Red Ribbon Club (RRC), K.C.Das Commerce College, following community services were conducted: 1) On 24.01.2012 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 50 units of blood was collected. 2) On 24.08.2012 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 72 units of blood was collected. 3) On 13.02.2013 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 23 units of blood was collected. 4) On 23.10.2013 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 58 units of blood was collected. 5) On 13.08.2014 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 35 units of blood was collected. 6) On 13.08.2015 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 68 units of blood was collected. 7) On 12.08.2016 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 69 units of blood was collected. 8) On 08.09.2017 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 34 units of blood was collected. 9) On 08.09.2018 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 32 units of blood was collected. 10) On 07.09.2019 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 26 units of blood was collected. 11) On 14.06.2022 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 17 units of blood was collected. 12) On 04.11.2022 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 34 units of blood was collected. 13) On 14.06.2023 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 15 units of blood was collected. 14) On 08.04.2025 voluntary blood donation camp was organised by RRC where 25 units of blood was collected. As a convener of Awareness Cell of Health and Hygiene, K.C.Das Commerce College since 2012 the following activities were carried out for faculty, student and local community: 1) On 31.05.2012 Dr. Shrabani Mishra, Department of Preventive Oncology, B.Barooah Cancer Institute invited to deliver a lecture on Prevention of Oral Cancer. 2) On 30.08.2014 Free Health Check Up was conducted in association with Herbal Life for the students, Teaching and Non-teaching and local community. 3) On 26.04.2017 Health Awareness Lecture was conducted on " Drug Abuse and Herbal Tips for Positive Health" in association with Lions Club of Guwahati. 4) On 19.03.2020 an Awareness Campaign was conducted on Corona Virus to help the local community of Chatribari to understand the seriousness of Corona Virus. 5) On 24.03.2022 an awareness camp on "Enhancing the Health, Hygiene and Empowerment of Women in Guwahati City" was held. 6) On 31.05.2022 a street play on Tobacco Awareness was conducted on the occasion of World Tobacco Day and make students understand the harmful effects of tobacco. 7) On 18.03.2023 a Free Eye and Dental Health checkup camp was organised where teaching, non-teaching and students availed the checkup and treatment. 8) Treasurer of K.C.Das Commerce College Teachers' Unit- 2024 and 2025. 9) Treasurer of K.C.Das Commerce College Women's Cell-2024. 10) Secretary of K.C.Das Commerce College Women's Cell-2025.
Academic Association & Others/
Member of ACTA Member of AAMI ENAJOREE 86 (NGO) - Financial assistance (one-time Scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- only) is given to HS 1st year students, one each for a male and a female of Cotton University from Economically Weaker Section. The Scholarships are sponsored by "AAMI ENAJOREE 86". Time to time financial assistance is given to the needy by the NGO.
Awards & Achievements
On 01.12.2022, Assam Aids Control Society organised a rally on the occasion of World AIDS Day. After the rally, an award giving ceremony was held in the GMCH auditorium. Four colleges were awarded and felicitated as the best colleges for their valuable contribution towards HIV awareness and voluntary blood donation camp. As the Programme Officer of Red Ribbon Club, K.C.Das Commerce College received the award from Hon'ble Health Minister of Assam, Mr. Keshav Mahanta.
